No of photos needed for OCI Application

Hi,
I am confused with the No of photos required by each applicant.Intitially I thought it is 2 photos pasted on 2copies of Application PartA. But after reading this, I am confused. It says 5 copies.

Can that be more specific for application from the US?
If I were you I'd follow what's on HCI's website.

Follow the guidance on the HCI website, which clearly states 2 photographs.

Photographs: Two photographs [51x51mm, (WITH 80% COVERAGE BY FACE) should be pasted in the application form. Photographs should be of light colour background (not white) with front pose, both shoulders and both ears visible.

Does that mean 2 photos for two sets of applications= total 4 ?

I think it requires only 2 overall.
