Thanks
1. two sets of application forms
2. two photographs 2inchesx2inches
3. two copies of ukpassport copies
4. two copies of marriage certificate
5. two copies of indian passport surrender certificate
6. two copiesof birth certificate of minor child (if you are applying)
7. two copies of naturalization certificate
They didn't check my originals.
Hope this helps
I'm sure you are referring to application in person here rather than by post?

Does anyone know whether we have to submit any originals when applying by post?

I have a few questions regarding photographs for the OCI Form -

1. Where can I get 51mm x 51mm, I understand this is not the standard size. Do jessops do it?

2. I understand from the HCI website that I have to send two photographs. The form has only got space to stick one photograph. Should i just clip the second one on the form?

You can apply at a mission of your choice, its not restricted by county jurisdiction.

Hello Guys,

I sent my application for OCI by post to HCI london on 11.08.11.

I have not yet received the acknowledgement letter.

I was wondering if it is possible to check the status online using the online registration number only. or do I have to have the acknowledgement reference number to be able to track the status online.

If you check in with just your application number or passport no, it should tell you. It may say, mission has not acknowledged the application yet.
