General discussion after BC and Passport application

Congratulations rnr79. I am sure you are mightily relieved.
your timeline says your application was received at UKBA on 17th May. so that make its about 79-80 days. So where there a long delay between submitting the application at the council and they sending it to UKBA?

Some people wrote here that the letter has Nationality team mentioned in it but mine doesnt have reference to any teams..

skr27.. I applied on 14th May using NCS...so that makes 91 Days...

I dont know how did you come up with 79-80 days calculation?

I was counting from the day it got to UKBA (17/5/11) to the day they made the decision (4/5/11) which is the 79 days... forgot the additional 9 days that take to get the letter and the 3 days for the application to arrive at UKBA.

i think this topic is not very popular now coz rnr79 is not intersting its natural who ever gets their appprval and specialy after getting their passport never came to immigrationborad. lol i have only noticed few but mostly gonneeeeeeee. now i hve to say goodluck to mysefl lol

Looking at the passport thread, 1664, Vipul and myself are more or less in the same times lines

that's not waht i wanted to write - duh!

Saw someone had proactively called IPS to obtain the ref number and booked the interview than waiting for the letter to arrive...

1664/vipul - have you guys done this? perhaps an avenue we should explore?

Not planning to call them before this Friday or may be even Monday next week. I am travelling on 8th September, so should be still in time. I think its too early to call

shs123, ur application was also received on 11th August, which is last week Thursday. My personal opinion is that you should wait till Friday and then call unless you have any travel plans.

yes i know it is but i cant do nothing coz i am not the only one who waited alot there are many who waited over 3/4 months. i have noticed that mostly application for MARRIED TO BC takes time i dont know what are the checking even we living together got kids still they check the relationship.

I called today ukba and was told my bc application have now been allocated to a case work.what does this mean?and how Long does it take for a decision to be made once it's allocated to a case worker.
