Tax due affect citizenship application ?

Post by rajesh1319 » Tue Aug 16, 2011 12:34 pm

Hello Senior member and Gurus ,

Today i got the letter from HMRC saying that some £1.90 is due for year 2010-2011.

Actually, till date my tax assessment and form filling is done by my employer and when i checked on HMRC website under self assessment section it was showing some £13 is due (every year some £ 1.80 was due).

My question is

1. I have applied for citizenship through nationality checking service last month and waiting for outcome and my application is under consideration. Is minor tax due will affect the outcome citizenship application ?

If yes, what should i do now so that it will not affect my citizenship application.
