Hello vndpag,

Have you heard anything on the EEA1?

GOD see us through this as the waiting is a bit draining.

I turned 5. month and still nothing.
I am living in the the other EU country but I am wonder what will happen.
I wrote my insurance service which I bought for my wife, they told me it has been canceled when u left Uk and u did not turn back in 28 days. It was so surprise for me cuz this is not national insurace I bought it special and it should be wordwide.
If i do not need i could continue with NI its for free and for UK.
so it was not good what they did even I paid 4 month and i have contract.
I wrote them back and I am waiting respond.

last 2 month for decision but probably they will cancel that application as well.
we will see what is next ;)

good luck all..

Hello JOZIO1453,

During the last 5 months that the application has been with the HO, did you get any letter from them requesting you to provide additional information especially around the insurance?

You still have 1 month to go before the 6 months statutory period. I cannot see why the HO will not decide on your case within the next 1 month if nothing is making it complicated.

Good luck.

Hi vndpag,

When I received the EEA1 for my wife, the content was exactly the same as you have enumerated. Her ID card, the Blue Card (Registered Document) the letter advising that all other documents are being kept until the EEA2 is decided and indeed the COA. That COA included was the one and only one I have received and all those documents were dated the 10th August.

It might have been just an admin error for you to get 2 COA as I am sure the content will be the same.

16/07/11 - EEA1 and EEA2 sent to EEA2 postal address

10/08/11 - COA and EEA1 both approved

If I wil cont april, the decision should be ok max. end of this month.

Call the Call Center number and speak to someone to request the passport back, ideally can take upto 10 working days so ideally should be done asap
