Hi my case is similar to yours. Posted Set O 15th July. Acknowledgement dated 19th July and still waiting. The status of my royal mail is "ünable to confirm". I suppose that just means it's not been sent out yet.

Do post if you hear back fr Home Office. Cheers.

is any one in same situation

One confusing thing, tracking number of self addressed envelope is on royal mail system showing 'post receieved by royal mail but no delivery confirmation' ive checked with royal mail many times but no clear cut answer - latest answer is tracking number is an error

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Sincerely

After their own deadline of 14 weeks I think you should now probably call or write to them asking for progress on your application. In my own case which is now in the 13th week, they said I should wait until after next week before they could confirm any details to me.

Hi Poppy,

Yes I hope thats the case, initially I was extremely upset as was thinking that ukba has sent the post which I didnt get, so called royal mail for a week and also ukba couple times, royal mail eventually told me it must be an error and likely there is no mail existing to be delivered and then later home office told me that your application still in progress, so the latest is - its been 13 weeks now and still waiting...

Hello,

I think it starts from when a valid application is submitted.

Not sure if my timeline will be counted from 25 August or 16 September.

From 26 August 2011 : 5.5 weeks
From 16 September 2011 : 2.5 weeks

Status: Waiting
It will be counted from 16 Sep 2011. As this time they will start processing your application.
The question is... to be or not to be....

thats the problem,

I asked them what to expect next and they said its all pending and they cannot tell me any thing about further waiting time, its all in process - and that is the reason I was thinking what's the use of this service, you cannot call them before 14 weeks, and if you call them afterwards they just say its all pending/being processed which I you already know..

ILR applicants: Is it normal to wait for upto 18 weeks ?

Post by seto30june » Fri Oct 07, 2011 6:13 pm

Dear all,

just want to know about SETO ILR applicants, my 14 weeks waiting time is well over now. Is there any one who has waited >= 18 weeks. I just want to know is it normal that one has to wait upto 18 weeks [or more] or is really unusual, because what I am thinking is to withdraw application if I don't hear any thing in a months time [ total 18 weeks] and then to apply personally.

I did call them, what they say its in progress.

Any experience in this regard and suggestions will be extremely helpful for me, and ofcorse for other fellows who are waiting for over 14 weeks now.

Many thanks and kindest regards

If that was not the full payment I think I [ & I believe most of others] would d done it ages ago, its just a pain every day. I think I l wait for a month and then would strongly consider withdrawing.

Do you need your passport urgently otherwise try not to think abt it and just have fun. I must admit I look out for it in the post everyday and 12 weeks on and still waiting.

I find that coming to this thread doesn't make me feel better either so I'll just come back once a week or two to see if ppl in my batch have gotten theirs. Mine's Set O - applied 15th July.
