ILR Sucess Croydon – 5th December 2011 – HSMP & Tier1

Post by akb100 » Thu Jan 12, 2012 2:19 pm

Hi Everyone,

Finally, I have received ILR Today. I would like to thank all the people and help that I have received from this forum, Specially SUSHDMETHA and JAMI who actually advised for other people queries which helped me a lot.

I have applied for ILR on 05/12/2011 and received post today which is almost after 37 days.

I had submitted the documents at croydon offfice on 05/12. Unfortunately systems were down so they have advised us stay till 3:00 but nothing was happend.

At 3:30, case worker has mentioned that they are unable to check the documents and confirmed that documents & passport will be posted in 2-3 working days.

I was hoping with all documents which I had submitted its going to a happy path But-- Unfortunately – on 14/12 I have received a letter from UKBA saying...

“Your application is valid but there are further enquiries that need to be made on your case & as such your application has been passed to a team where in further enquiries will be made”

I had chased home office through emails & phone but no response received. It was very painfull to wait but had no choice.

Finally received the documents & Passport today.

If any of you are in same boat, I suggest never lose hope.

Thanks very much all of you guys.. God bless to forum Moderators.

Hello akb100,
Thanks you very much for your news and Congratulations!!!

your news giving me a good hope.
I submitted my application on 4th Jan 2012 through a solicitor and on the same day UKBA contacted my previous employer to enquire about my business trips (I had quite a few 337 days) and the next day my solicitor received the same letter as yours and my case has been referred to another team for further checks. It's been 7 days now. My Tier 1 visa will be expirying on 15th Jan 12.

Fingers crossed, I think have to bear the pain until the UKBA respond to my application, hoping for the best.

Thanks & regards,
chrams

Hello AKB100,
do you have any absences more than 90 at a stretch and more than 180 days in total? what is your case and why they held your case for so many days as you applied for the same day service?

I tried to find your posts but didnot find any in this board.

Appreciate your case in detail

Hi akb100,

CONGRATULATIONS! on your ILR success.

I am in the same boat, my Tier1 expires in Feb so planning to apply by this month end.( I come under ILR HSMP JR before Nov 2006)

I was out of UK for 316 days
- 215(Business Trip) and 101(Paid Annual leave) but from past 2 years I never moved out of UK.

"I have taken letter from my prev. employer stating that I was permanent employee of their company and during that period I was out of UK on a business trip From ..To....while..salary was deposited here"..

I have all pay slips from that employer.

Are this documents enough?

Please let me know...it will be a great help.

Dear AKB and ILRLondon,
Thanks for your msgs.

ILR London,
Make sure you get a very detailed cover letter from your employer i.e.
- Why is you for the business trips on behlaf of your company .i.e. your employer has to give some of your specialist skillset to the case worker you are the most suitable employee of choice for the particular BT
- where was your salary paid when you are in BT
- Make sure to include your NI and Taxes were paid by your employer while you are in BT

etc., points will give good chances of standing on your favour. I had prepared a cover letter based on my skillset and sent it to my employer and they issued the same.

It's very painful time of waiting for my application result, but i am positive on my application out come.

Thanks & regards,
chrams

Hi Charms,

Thanks a lot.

Sure, I will ask my employer to give me detailed cover letter with all the required information.

Yes, its true waiting is very painful thinking about it all the time.

Well done buddy, shame that they made you wait for such a long time even after being paid premium fee!
