My case was straight forward HSMP + Tier 1 (% yearsbeing completed on the 20th Feb 2012). One dependent (weife). Did not apply for the ILR for child as planning to apply for the BC directly as he was born in UK. Had gone with wife and the son.
Had an appointment at PEO Croydon today at 11:15
Arrived at 10:45 hrs. Ref no. for the appointment checked at the gate.
Asked to wait outside for about 15 min. Called in for airport type security check. Then the form and passports checked in the next counter.
Asked to go to 1st floor for payment which went through smoothly. Given a token number.
No queue at the payment window by Credit card.
Had called up the card company yesterday.
Asked to wait in the Hall n wait for our number, which was called within 5 minutes. Went to the CW at 11:35 who was very quiet and understanding.
He competently started checking different details and doing enteries on the computer. After about 30 min he asked for the documents.
12 months Salary slips n Bank statements.
LIUK test results
He asked for P60,s (didnt specify how many?). Told him that I have got employment history grom HMRC for last 5 years n he was happy.
Co-hab documents. Offered him the marriage certificate which he was not interested in. I had only 2 which were in joint names and rest were individually addressed. Was happy to choose from the bundle.
Asked for Letter from employer which I had.
At 12:35, he said that everything is Ok and come back in 2 hours. So went out and returned at 14:30. Again the same security check. Passport wasn't ready.Was called to collect the passports at 15:15 with ILR stamped on both. Checked them n back to home.
