Biometric for ILR

Post by sojan » Thu Feb 16, 2012 7:45 am

As per the pinned topic
http://immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=91987

Any further information about?
1. If people who already have Biometric card as part of their PBS , should they require to re-enrol for ILR Biometric?
2. How will it affect the applications at PEO ? currently ILR can be attained within a day if you go to PEO. Hence if its biometric card for ILR, should we do it in 2 steps?
3. Is this change for FLR also?

You will have to give biometrics again.

The process at peo will be the same as when you gave biometrics before. If they make a decision to grant you ilr on the day they will issue you a letter confirming this and your BRP will arrive around 7 days later in the post.

Biometrics are already required for most applications for FLR and it is now being rolled out to more categories.
