Date of receipt of approval: 27th Feb 2012 (actually the solicitor emailed me on this date)

updates;
Emailed them onceafter waiting of 10 weeks but they never replied.
Ring ukba on 06th march 2012,the lady said still waitng for decision but received the approval and documents on 09th march 2012.

called UKBA sevral times but no clear answer received. Last time called on 6th March and the lady said no action has been taken on my application yet. actully my application got approved on the same day, so if you call the UKBA, then do not rely fully on the info received.

*My application was approved on 23/1/12 but I didn't receive a letter from the UKBA. Southwark council sent me a letter on 22/3/12 to notify me that I had only another month to collect my certificate, which was how I found out about the approval. The original invitation letter had likely been lost in the post.

My invitation was also originally issued for a different council to the one I requested. The UKBA sorted out the mistake in about 10 days.

Anyone else applying with UKM? I'm currently in the US but was in the UK for the first 16 years of my life (although US born, which has been the problem).

Eligibility criteria: UKM (British mother, had ILR, have NI#)
