Nope Ranga....nothing so far....I am just wondering...did anyone here get the letter for further enquiries and then got their passport within 3-4 weeks or was it only those who got a letter saying you need to provide further info.(like Employers Letter) who received it within this time frame...guys...any input would help...

Chrams got it in 2 weeks http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... 7+absences

His employer was contacted and there are quite a number of people who got the application valid but further enquiries needed letter and got ILRs approved. A search will show a lot of results.

Also ukba is really lazy at posting or returning passports. My ILR was stamped on 4th March but only posted out on the 15th. It is second class post and can take upto 10 days.

I know how hard and difficult it is to wait. Keep faith, hope this week is lucky for you and others waiting.

Hi jaskiratbaweja

I know it took 25 days for your application to be processed, did you chase them by either sending email or posting a letter or did you contacted your MP. I just wanted to know if chasing makes any difference.

No I did not contact them by any means. Also I did not contact my MP. I believe if you have urgent need to travel then you should definitely contact the MP.

For a starter just write a letter to the PEO with your reference number and requesting them to expedite it.

I can understand how difficult it is to wait and the anxiety this makes you go through. Hope all waiting get the positive news soon.

Thanks for your reply, I do not have urgent travel at the moment I might wait for an other week and start chasing them.

Thanks a ton for your support and prayers. Wish the same for everybody.

Date Applied (at PEO) : 21st Feb 2012

Date additional documents received at PEO : 28th Feb 2012

Date ILR Stamped : 04th Mar 2012

Date Passports Received : 17th March 2012

They were sent by second class recorded post posted on the 15th Mar 2012 . UKBA did not use the next day prepaid envelope I had sent with the additional documents requested for my application.

It seems most activity from UKBA for such applications happens towards the end of the week. All the best to those waiting.

Folks,

I got my documents back and my ILR has been refused. They have not given the right to appeal. I had absence of 339 days ( around 240 business trip and 99 leave). The reason for rejection is not not spending continuous 5 years as I had two absence of more than 90 days. Even though the absence were for business purpose , they have rejected my application. My Tier 1 is expiring on 29th March and I am applying for extension by post on monday.

Regards,
Ranga.

I am sorry to hear about this Ranga. You should get your Tier 1 first and then apply for ILR again and hopefully it will work out for you.
