Post by charismatic_one » Wed Jun 13, 2012 12:24 pm

First of all thank you everyone for all the hlp and support.
I got mine and 1 dependants Tier 1 general extension visa application approved yesterday at the Croydon PEO.
My appointment was at 10:00 am. Timeline below:

9:10 - reached Lunar house and straightaway allowed in to the waiting area
9:30 - done by security check
9:50 - initial check/application validation done
10:05 - fees paid
10:15 - data entered and sent to 2nd floor for Biometrics
10:45 - announement that Biometrics system is slow and expect delays :?
11:10 - Biometrics done
11:45 - called by a caseworker, submitted form and docs.
12:30 - called by caseworker and told that she is done with her work and now waiting for bimetric results to come through
1:30 - called again by casewroker and told to go home and the decision and documents will be sent in post :( , i asked can I go out and come back in couple of hours to check if it has come back, she said its completely upto u but the chances are very less that u will get a decision today
1:40 - left lunar house and went to the shopping centre with my wife
3:00 - came back and she was ready with the approval letter and all docs and said that BRP should arrive in next 7-10 Days
3:10 - Thanked her and left Lunar house happily :)

What do you mean? Do you want to check the application status for a postal application?

I went PEO Croydon. I visited today and they said biometric results pending. I told them that I am here to collect documents and wife received a phone call.
They told me that they are going to work on Sundays
Thanks
Abhijit
