Tracking Application - Lahore

I am having difficulty tracking a friends's application on this site

I start off with LHE/070612/ then rest of the numbers plus date of birth
at the bottom but each time I get a message stating invalid reference
number. Any comments/ advice please

I think most application references begin GWF followed by numbers.

I received a text message with the tracking details, and I believe the tracking number starts with LHE because it orginated from Lahore. I don't have the receipt in front of me so I can't really tell.

My friend received a text message this morning in Lahore stating
VISA ref Gry- pk - 02 ......... is under process at the British High Commission.
I suppose that is just as good because a confirmation has come through but we would have liked to track the visa application ourselves. Oh well, I will have to wait for Yasmin to return to the UK with the receipt in order for me to locate the tracking number. Thanks for the replies.

u were putting the right numbers but there is something missing in that
like 1234567890 any digit you might entered is incorrect

the standard one is like this from lahore

I have checked again inserting CAPITAL letters but to no avail.
THere must be a digit missing or something to that effect.

LHE/070612/202020/2AB1111111 The date is correct but other numbers have been substituted.

The last bit of the above number looks odd to me. After the "20/" there should be just one digit. Not 9 digits. Double check that the numbers after the "20/2" are correct. The receipt from Gerrys is confusing as directly beside the reference number, the applicants passport number is also written, and to the un-trained eye, it looks as though, it is all part of the tracking reference number. I think the 9 extra digits are the passport number.
