I have one question, my passport is not with me, i have send it to UKBA for my wife's ILR application. so do i definitely need my passport for citizenship ceremony or for proof of identity they can see my driving license?

That was a very long 3 months.......

So the letter they send out tells you to ring a number to arrange a ceremony date - who then tell you you have to wait for the letter they send out - apparently they haven't updated the approval letter to the new system yet..... So yet more waiting.

And then a 6 week wait for the ceremony - why so long? Anyone had any luck getting these earlier?

Managed to get the ceremony moved from 4 Oct to 25 Sept - they were quite recptive to the request for a change even if it is only just over a week earlier it suits me better.....
