HO received my application on the 11th May and they haven't sent me COA .i called on the 27th July and sent an email also.....
The email address is for passport return and they never reply...
i am thinking of requesting the EEA passport so I may get the COA with it.

eea2 sent for transfer of RC to new passport for hubby and new RCs issued for twin babies. Timeline:
EEA2 sent: 23 March 2012
COA received: 6 May 2012
awaiting RC

Finally the wait is over and i have good news. my RC was granted the 29th of july and i received it today the 7 of august. it is been a long wait from october to my refusal in february and my reapplication end of february thank you for all your support. and good luck to those who are still waiting for the outcome of their cases.

eea1 and eea2 sent 28 february 2012
HO received 29 feb
eea1 for my wife and daughter issued 04 april,received 25 april
COA received june the 11 after request
RC granted 29 july 2012 received 7 august 2012

to be honest its takes more than 2 months even I got my COA after 2 months

Have you enclosed a pre-paid envelope? And have you received RC by Signed recorded delivery?

My situation is the same as Wehlau, I have been advised that the letter has been sent (this was on Monday) but I am not sure how much I can relay on what they say. We have enclosed our pre-paid envelope. Why they haven't used it - no idea. Sometimes I think they want to give themselves more time so they send it later then they actually said that they did.

We have received RC today!!!

We are married. I am EU and he is North African.

Our timeline as follows:

EEA2 sent on 1 February 2012
HO received on 2 February 2012
COA received on 29 February 2012
RC granted 30 July 2012, received on 8 August 2012

We didn't chase them during 6 months. But we called every day from 1st August. Also sent emails to HO on 6 August. The same day (on 6 August) after sending emails, we received confirmation that they sent a letter via recorded signed delivery. We have enclosed our prepaid envelope, but this has been returned together with the rest of the documents today for some reason. We did not hire any solicitors and did everything ourselves.

It was delivered on 24.05.2012
But i still havent received COA
