NOTHING FOLLOWS! I'm worried already, thinking of unsuccessful application, it's a very long wait.

I think its taking close to 4 months these days. Judging by the posts on the forum, late April applications are yet to arrive.

Incidentally I applied on 25th April; and nothing has come yet

My wife applied on April 4. Acknowledgement received April 19, dated April 15. But still no decision by August 8. :(

I'm reassured that everyone seems to be in the same boat and the delay is not restricted to only some applications. Maybe the school holidays/Olympics means lots of staff are on holidays and UKBA are short-staffed? Can anyone shed anymore light?

The Olympics is a valid point but not a good excuse the the number of applicants has been increased this year + when you see the fees of £851 for a single application I think the UKBA need to consider to creat jobs for the job seekers to deal will all these applications and backlogs instead of the cuts and causing delay and stress for the applicants by saying (we doing axtra checks).....

Congratulations.
Can you please update the April Club thread, please. It'll be a great help for the rest of us who are waiting.
