Post by ChetanOjha » Sun Jan 07, 2007 1:02 am

Hi,

I am applying for HSMP in next few days with the following documents:

1. Qualification - 30 Points
- Original Degree Certificate (Graduation) and Transcripts
- Origianl Letter from NARIC with the UK equivalence.

2. Past Earning - 35 Points
- Salary Slips (stamped and signed) from my past 2 employers
- Bank Statement proving the net salary earned.
- Letter from Current employer regarding my salary. I am working with my current employer since past 8 months. I couldn't get letter from my previous company.

3. Age Assessment - 10 Points
- Original Birth Certificate (which is in Gujarati)
- Original English Translation of Birth Certificate
- Personal Detail Page of Passport Notarised by Notary Public, just in case they do not accept the Birth Certificate which is not in English.

5. UK Work Experience - 5 Points
- This would be proved by the payslips submitted above in point 2.

4. English Requirement
- Original Letter from Universirty on headed paper showing my Name, qualification, college name, date of award, % secured and medium of instruction in english.

Can somebody please have a look at this and let me know If I can go ahead with the above documents for the application.

I would appreciate your suggestion and advice and will encorporate the same into it.

Please reply as early as possible.

Thanks.

Hi,

The only thing I can see missing from my brief scan of the list is your income tax return for the period claimed. Good luck.

Hi,

I am not able to get my Income Tax Return form i.e. P60. As a result I am submitting the Alternative Evidence viz. Letter from Employer and Bank Statement.

Any suggestions would be welcome..

Thanks

Have you got a good reason for lack of P60? And can you provide evidence of the reason?

This depends on the period of your earnings claim. Why are you not able to obtain P60?

Dear Friends,

My Previous company is not in a mood to provide me the P60 form. I am chasing this since November and they are just not replying anything properly. They are simply harrassing me by not giving any properly replies and always asking me to call back later. Also many a times replying very rude. I was feeling helpless and hence I was going for alternative evidence.

My previous company was paying me allowance in UK and a part of salary in India. When I called HSMP team they told me that I should show UK earning. But since my previous company was paying me allowance only.

If Tax Return is that important can somebody advice me what should i do?

Would appreciate your prompt reply..

Thanks
Chetan

Hi Ukboy,

I am having B.E(ELectronics) from Shivaji University.

NARIC: you can get this verified and get a letter for UK equivalence from www.naric.org.uk.

English: You can get a letter from University directly for the same.

Hope I answwered your query.

You have to take a letter from your College first before going to the University (especially for Mumbai University).

You may also need your marksheets to get it.

Giid Luck..!!

Hi

I just want to emphasize that P60 is compulsory and your application will be refused without that even if you provide payslips, bank statements, and company letter like mine :(

Yes

It was rejected because of not having P60 which is compulsary, you need to put it there (they know that's until 5th April 2006).

Then you need to provide either bank statement or Letter from company.

I will make another application in 10 days.

Pooya

Chetan. apart from P60 issue on which Pooya is right, some people got rejected for english language requirements cause they hadn't taken IELTS (even on giving letter from uni) example a member nnj ....

also recent posts in forum suggests online payslips need to show name and designation of signing person as well.

I know all this sounds crazy but keep looking at first page of the forum and all posts... u will find many such examples. Look carefully, you shall find them yourself.

I am more or less in a similar positions but i can't get P45/ P60 coz i have been in UK from the last 9 months only and i can't get p60 at this stage.
Would this make a sufficient grounds to convince home office alternatively i am providing Employer Letter, My contract & wage slips.

I am providing ILets with 6.5 as well as Letter from my university

I do not understand, How can they ask for Name and Designation of the person who is signing the Payslips as Stamp doesn't contains those information.
Also if you are provinding bankstatement and payslips (stamped and signed) for the current year, I do not think they can reject it.

Regardunf letter from English from University, it can only be done if they cannot confitm the same from University. Make sure all the required details are mentioned on the letter. People might have missed some or other details.

Post by Pooya » Mon Jan 29, 2007 11:28 am

Hi
I have missed a document (P60) in my application.

If I want to send P60 with my application, do I need to create a new application from scratch or I can send with the existing one they have.

Any Ideas/?
