PSW on ACCA Fundamental Papers

There is word that name carry attitude..... please dont act imprudently... it is true that it does not cost us anything to criticize or say rubbish to other rather its reflect ourselves, and proof what we are. the news was not to promote others but to let others know that ACCA students do not have to go any lawyers to seek help becasue UKBA will consider them positively. somebody may be out standing member does not mean that they are right all th times.

does it harm anybody or it does cost you financially that you are loosing your business if people get visa strait from UKBA. Would you not be happy that you do not have to seek any help or pay any fees to lawyers.

However your comment shows the attitude like a businessman who just lost his contract and become out of pocket and easily get irritated.
Why you are very upset , dont you have his number , why do not you find out again from him that why people like him saying such word.

It is a matter to think that If he wishes to make money or con somebody then for the benefit of others he would not say that all student would get visa with out any lawyers assistance. however individual circumstances is different but generally if somebody meet the requirement then they would not loss anything.

I already clear myself before that It not not about to promote somebody but to let other believe that we do not needs anybody's help as long as we meet the normal requirement. Good thing we do not have to pay somebody or do not have to call any lawyer to seek advice. Patience is virtue and wait and see the result in few weeks time . hope people deserve respect and we are here to share our views not to offend directly or indirectly to others. Hope that helps us to unite here to share our view as friend.

The very objective is this forum is to save ourselves from immigration solicitors/consultants by getting first hand advice from people who have undergone similar experience.

By promoting an individual we are acting against the very spirit and objective why this forum was established. If some people believe Mr Marfat represented them well they should clearly highlight the basis of his argument and not hiding behind the cover of personal safety/confidentiality etc etc....as highlighted in my earlier post these issues could easily be overcome.

The objective of members here is not to push other members towards a particular solicitor/barrister as it is the material FACT that wins the case not the solicitor/barrister so if anybody who genuinely wants to help other members should share those stated FACTS. They should have the intellect and ability to distinguish what was a decisive factor on which they have won the case.

People who are generally deceptive are the one's who wants to keep things discreet.

And lastly no name calling please, I have only expressed my doubts through logical reasoning and the most plausible assumption. I still believe on the face of it Mr Marfat doesn't come across as a bad guy but I would refrain from recommending him to everyone/every situation as he is not a solicitor which means he is not able to solicit an advice to the member of public and yes he is a barrister but only part qualified, any claims about past success would depend on the FACTS OF THAT CASE and not him. As judges give their decision on material facts not for the sole reason that Mr.Marfat is representing you.

I am not a businessman who have lost a contract neither am I irritated however a public forum is not a place to market one's business either directly or indirectly.

Look bro i am not promoting anyone:: My friend visa was expired and he picked Marfat no from Acca forum which have been closed by acca but the fact is my friend won his appeal:: i am just telling you wat i have seen why whould i hve lie to you:;

Unless there is something in writing from ukba to say that they accept acca fundamentals as a relevant qualification for psw i would suggest taking the claims in this read with a large pinch of salt. Unless there is an authoritative reported upper tribunal decision on this matter (or indeed a decision from the higher courts ukba is highly unlikely to suddenly start granting psw applications in all acca cases.

what id fundamental level qualification..... is it just an award of qualification or it is a Degree?

Just type up the relevant bits and post here.

Fundamental level is degree according to Uk naric and Acca also have approved insti by Uk Royal Charter :: i read few cases and i think the lawyers couldnt handle the case properly they were keen on level but the fact is Fundamental Level is degree and see the previous threads on this forum

Anyway as i mentioned before on this thread, people tend to believe what they want to believe despite of the fact there is a solid proof that proves his/her belief is wrong.
About ten days ago, I (actually my solicitor Marfat) got a letter from UKBA that ask me to send my passport and two pictures for my psw visa. So ill be sending them first thing Tuesday. How about that as an assurance?

For some reason your comments on here make me to wish everybody who is applying for psw based on acca to receive it but you.
But i can totally tell that youre a smart guy from the way you say things and Im pretty sure that you can easilly find a suitable job for you when you go back to your country maybe by the end of this year while the others will be working or looking for a job here in the UK.

I haven't been to that stage yet . I am still awaiting my decision on the contrary I thought you were mean't to upload your friend's decision for us.

Same as you in fact a bit later than you, I contacted UKBA and have a direct phone number for a complaint liaison manager (this no. is specially for MP's to contact but my MP being lazy just gave me the no. and asked me to contact UKBA directly with any queries),who I spoke with today and he advised me there are some extra documentary evidence which the case worker is waiting for before he makes a decision on my case. This manager is very nice and co-operative but I make sure not to ring too many times only call him once or twice in a month.

Not sure from where or whom he is expecting those evidence as they haven't contacted me for anything. He said my file was last updated on the 20th of August with a note saying they are awaiting for the result of some extra investigation...........no idea what's being investigated????

Ohh that good atleast they have told you that thy working on yr file when i have rang them thy hve told me that thy cant give me any information and thy dont knw how long thy will take;: it means on our cases they getting some evidences from court or either from acca i am not sure:: i am really hoping we all get visa straightway withouth going to hassel of appeal:: i got job offer but thy saying thy cant give me job untill i get my passport:: i hope so we ll get our passport by nxt week:: plz share when u gt reply from home office because if u get visa str away then we ll get aswell:: I really hope ukba convince now that Fundamental level is equal to degree::

The call center people are generally rude or unhelpful or they haven't got a clue what they are talking about. But I don't get through to UKBA call center but a specialist line the number for which is not available in public domain.

Really lucky as my MP gave it to me to contact this person and this manager is not a case worker therefore cannot make/influence my decision in any way but can provide me information or any update or notes added to my file.

Generally you would need to have an 8 digit reference to speak to this dept which is given to you once you or either your MP has contacted UKBA to register a complaint.

Can't you write down the important bits from the judgement? surely if you read them should give you a fairly good idea what was the decisive factor?

One of my friend got his passport back from home office yesterday but hes got OBU degree unlike us who failed in degree:; He applied same time as me but our situation is bit different that coz we all applied on the basis of Fundamental level:: hope for good

Hi Guys

I apply PSW at the end of March 12 and i send biometric through post office on 15th May 12. My Visa is expiring in Oct 12. My question is that do you think that i will get appeal rights?

And does anyone think that there is any chance of winning the appeal in high court?

I am assuming here that i will get rejection i think it is a fair assumption as whatever i have seen in my friend's cases.
