Application Rejected because of not providing 4 wage slips

Hi,
MY application is rejected because I did not provide wage slips for the months August to November. However I did send a consolidated pay slip detailing the wages in seperate lines. I do not know why it was not considered as pay slip.
I want to apply for review. Please suggest the procedure to do so. Do I need to send them all the documents again?

sorry to here that your HSMP was rejected only bz of the wage slip..
I suggest go for fresh application.Review wont work deep_rp.
the proof shd have been enclosed with the application,covering letter wont justify ur statement...

But I did have pay slips for the months August to November. They were of a different company, but they were on a single sheet. Does it need to be on seperate sheets? I mean should it have been 4 sheets for 4 months?

If they excluded those 4 pay slips, were you still getting the required points with the remaining pay slips?

What other evidences you have provided for earnings?

yes. I was getting sufficient points even without those 4 pay slips to get 80 points.....

Since you get enough points even without those 4 pay slips, I think there is a good chance that your application will be approved if you go for a review.

By the way,

(1) Did you provide any reason why you were not able to provide those 4 payslips, and why you had to provide the consolidated payslip for those 4 months?
(2) What did the HO's rejection letter exactly say (you can post the contents of the letter here after removing the personal details)?

Hi JK2007,
I thought they were sufficint as Pay Slips. I work on contract currently and that was the evidence my employers willing to give. So I did not give any explaination and took it for granted that HO would consider them as Pay slips.
The refusal letter says that....

You stated an income of Indian Rupees XXXXXX

You have supplied evidence to support this. However the wage slips you supplied were not acceptable because they did not cover a twelve month period. The wage slips only covered December 2005 through to July 2006.

In line with the published guidence notesm no points have been awarded

I think there has been a confusion regarding the consolidated payslip for 4 months. HO would have thought you did not provide the 4 payslips and instead provided a consolidated statement as alternative evidence.

Does this consolidated payslip look like other payslips (except the duration)?

It looks like this...

it has five columns...

"Month/year " "Contract Amount " "Commision Deducted by the bank" "Componsation for the commision Deducted in the previous months" "Total Paid"


My monthly payment comes through wire to my account.

If u dont have Pay slips, why dont u ask employer to issue the duplicates...

If still things dont work out, go for employer letter option

Although you gain enough points even without considering those 4 months, since those 4 months period was immediately preceding the date of application, caseworker would have considered this period crucial for the decision.

(1) Regarding the 4 months consolidated payslip: Since you have received payments 4 times (for those 4 months), but have got one consolidated payslip (with the same format as the other payslips), when you make your review application, explain clearly why you did not get monthly payslips for 4 months.

(2) If you were on contract and your payment system did not necessarliy have monthly payslips, provide this information in your review application.

(3) In your review, explain the fact that you get enough points even without considering those 4 months period.

You cannot provide any additional documents in your review application, although you can explain your situation.

Alternatively, if you can get the 4 pay slips from your company, and you don't mind spending another GBP 315, you can apply again by making a new HSMP application.

I did give Employee letters for the full 12 months of earnings... The only problem they had I presume was with the consolidated pay slips

Do wage slips have be 'continuous 12 months' from the previous 15 months?
Or
'Any 12 months' from the previous 15 months?

Deep_rp,

Wage slips are given for each month ... for each salary payout !!! Haven't heard of a payslip consolidation before .... does it really happen ???

And maybe that's why the caseworker rejected it !!! What's the difference then between letter from employer regarding last 12 months salary .. and ... a payslip with 12 months salary consolidated into one ????

I guess you gave the caseworker an unneccsary excuse to reject your case.

Hi Markie,

The HSMP Guideline states "26. We will assess your gross earnings before tax over a total period of up to 12 months out of the 15 months immediately prior to your application. The earnings can be for any 12 month period out of the last 15 months. This applies if you are in salaried or non-salaried employment"

Which means you can consider any 12 out of 15 months salary. It can have breaks in it.

Doesn't explicitly state "continuous". But, the phrase "12 month period" seems to suggest continuity.

Can someone clarify?
