sKaur,

You can send an email if you like, but I'm not familiar with the authories in India, you would need to scour around to find an email address for the appeals team in India.

If they've given a deadline of January, then realistically, I would hang in there and wait until December, cause even if you do email now, you'll probably get a standard response.

One thing that is surprising is how BHC calls in people for interview within hours after we call to ask for an update... I have seen 3 examples on this thread alone... and another was my friend when he called them...

Thanks Riverside creations.

But I thought it was after a certain date in august/september, not before..ru sure? my wife applied in june 2012..and got her visa in august2012.

The pre-entry screening requirement we rolled out on 16th August.. Anyone who applied prior to this is advised to carry an x-ray - people who apply after 16th August would have a certificate to confirm they are clear from infection from an approved clinic.

You can get a X-Ray from any hospital/clinic.

Hi,

Does the hospital give the TB certificate to us or would they send to BHC directly?

It is quite Fishy!

I applied for settlement Visa on 24th May 2012 in Chennai. After repeatedly sending Emails, called for Interview on the 60th Working day of the application, and after that no response. It has been 120 days (77 working days) now since the Application was submitted and no reply.

Spouse Visa approved

Post by gkskumar12 » Wed Sep 26, 2012 8:52 am

hello friends

my wife got her spouse visa today.
below is her time line.
Visa applied on 05/07/12 VFS Hyd
on 11/07/12 status updated to visa under processing
on 25/09/12 SMS received that visa has been processed
(chkd visa tracking on VFS website on 25/09/12, says invalid search)
Blue Dart Delivered the passport, passport bears the entry clearence stamp for 2 yrs 3 months.
Hope this info is helpful for those who are still waiting.
I am a ILR holder.

Pls can some suggest if have to do anything else like test before she start flying and she is planning to fly in the first week of November, hope this should be fine.

Tell her to bring all the documents, absolutely everything she has from her degreee certificates to her birth certificate. She doesn;t need to do a new TB test. Provided she has all her docs and answers a couple of very basic questions, ie. what does yrou husband do, is your husband waiting for you outside, she'll have no issues at the airport.

Settlement Visa delayed by more than 125 days. (18 weeks)

Post by MaVa » Wed Sep 26, 2012 1:19 pm

86 Working Days, 126 Non Working Days, since the Settlement Application was submitted to BDHC, CHennai. No decision has been made yet.

THey repleied to my email, saying that Security Checks are not yet over. And there is no time frame set for this, as it could take as long as it takes.

Really frustrated.

Application Submitted on 24th May 2012.
