i received an email today from worldbridge, not the standard rubbish but a proper email lol it says " We are very sorry but you application still needs further checks, you will be informed with a decision once it is made."

this worries me as we had all the checks done with the first application, and they were happy with everything except the english test!!
Good luck :)

isa you will get it.

I wish I had some words of comfort. Perhaps it is simply a case of on your previous application they did not look further than the supporting paperwork. ie: As soon as they noticed the problem with the test papers they may have stopped looking at your application.

I know nothing of the process, Shaz. I do hope you get some good news soon. There appears to be a lot of waiting but have a little more patience and InshaAllah it will all come good for you. Remember after a time of difficulty comes ease.

Try to keep your chin up. Every day is one day closer to a decision. (I find that helps be the tiniest amount...it wouldn't be so bad we knew it would be a positive outcome).

Subhanallah. My heart goes out to you both.

What did they say was the reason? Perhaps a lawyer could be useful in fighting your case.

I hope somebody comes along with some help soon.

they refused because they said no way any job offer would still stand after the first application even thought we provided a new job offer letter, they also said he was arrested and he has never been arrested in his life.

it was all assumptions on their part and i think it is totally unfair, i am gonna try and appeal

Shaz, my heart goes out to you.

Where in England are you? PM me if you wish.

I really think you should get a solicitor to do the appeal. There are plenty around that will look over your case for a small fee and advise you what is best; whether appeal or new application.

I hired a solicitor from the off but was let down so many times. I have spent a lot of time looking for a new solicitor; just in case and have a few in my bookmarks that are highly recommended. Let me know if you want me to pass them on to you.

Please try to stay strong. Allah is the best provider. Remember this.
