Spousal Visa Application - Pakistan (Timeline Only)

Yep, I'll be starting week 16, not expecting to hear until mid november or start of December.
But to be honest they can only now improve their processing times. Not really worried about the waiting time now because done more than half anyway, it's just hoping for the reply that we want to hear!

It is a good sign though that they are processing May and June applications, my husbands friends have nearly all got their visas (applied April, May and most recently June)

Im not even counting anymore, it only makes the wait more difficult. Instead i have started the wazeefa and making dua to Allah that we hear good news when the time is right.

I read a lot of durood shareef, it helps with all matters in life and also hereafter, I've had a lot on in life and reading durood shareef helped me alhomdoliallah, also month of hajj and Allah will hear everyones duas inshallah..

My husband attached nikah namah (attested), passport, tb test result, english test result, applicatin form, wedding photos, mobilink phone bills. Plus my supporting docs that i sent him.

I mainly call my husband so I printed out my call log history off the gtmobile website, do u think they will accept this?

Yeah thats fine, if ur husband calls u from Pak, get him to print a call log from his network as well plus any other proof of contact u may have like skype, emails, sms.

@HKamy20 It's difficult to know how long it'll take. However, given the statistics provided by UKBA, it does appear to be a 6-month wait at the moment. According to some reports, they have hired extra staff so that might speed things up. However, in my humble opinion December is more realistic. Anything before that would be a real bonus.

Just wanted to ask did u print lyca mobile call history off internet? looking at ur list of documents i made a stupid mistake of not providing my tickets to an from, but my passport copy will show stamps thats why i thought it wud be ok. a little worried as some eco's miss vital info others have provided. i also photocopied pages from my previous expired passport showin that i go pk almost every year someyimes twice.
all i can do is pray to allah that the visa is granted. my duas are with you all.

Supporting documents vary from person to person, whilst some of it is standard, not everything listed by Shazia is required.

If you live with your family and they pay the utility bills, then you don't need to submit any utility bills. If you are self employed then pay slips aren't required but declaration forms will be required.

I know people who sent in a handful of documents, not the endless list that others have sent, and were granted a VISA first time. Others have sent portfolios upon portfolios and have been refused. What you need to ensure is that you meet the criteria for a VISA.

Identification
Marriage and subsistence of it
Finances
Language
Employment
Housing

Just show how you meet the requirements above with various docs, and you'll be fine.

You don't need to provide a copy of the tickets or the tickets themselves, it's useful to do so. As you state the entry and departure stamps should be in the passport and the UKBA have the ability to check on the systems whether the person holding that passport was inside or outside the country at the time of the marriage. If it's about subsistence of your marriage, then you'll need to provide your call history and other things like greeting cards and when you transfer money to one another.

Like I said, these are the documents I sent. Everyone’s circumstances are different and like king2be said, as long as you meet the criteria you don’t have to provide all of this.

I was sitting here at work having my cuppa tea and figuring out KPI'S when I got a call from the Boss (for clarity this is not the office boss but rather my wife-i.e my new and I think more frightening boss).

Her visa was granted. Im so excited. So tickets will be booked soon.
