We can only guess. My guess is simple; net immigration to UK has been capped by the conservative government. If you want to demonstrate to your right wing voters that the net immigration to UK has been falling, you may want to just slow down the process of offering people extra leave of any kind by 50 percent. This would reduce the annual net migration numbers by 50 percent as well by creating the drama we are all experiencing right now. It is very inhuman, however immigration has been one of the mainstream political issues of the any previous UK government too. This ones, being right wing, are just more callous than the previous governments, that is all.

April / May / June Applicants

Post by s4sam » Wed Oct 24, 2012 7:38 pm

These long delays are painful and of course ridiculous .....Thanks all, please keep in touch.

All - (April, May, June-12) applicants has anyone received their passport or decision, please keep us updated as we have got no visibility and are stuck :(. the only way forward is to share each others pain . With this speed of service I assume July onwards applicants might even go into next year..!!!!!!

Just to add this little piece to the information and also an advice to those that are still waiting (including me) for Biometric since July and August

Having submitted my application in August, August 6 to be precise and since then, i have been waiting for biometric letter, it will 3 months in 6 Nov

I decided to call the HO today, but this is what i was told after giving the young lady the reference number on my Acknowledgement letter an also my name
She said, with the reference number, she couldn't locate anything on the system yet, I also gave her my name n dob, she said he same thing
What could be happening ? Has it not be scanned to the system yet ? Anyone heard about such before ?
Just so you guys know
Thanks

Done! You are on the spread sheet now...But I am just wondering how could Yourselves and missniu have the same date of application and acknowledgement. I hope they both aren't yours. If so please let me know and I shall amend the spread sheet to ensure the accuracy of the stats.

my applicaiton has not even been processed

Post by natisanga » Fri Oct 26, 2012 2:17 pm

HI!
Just an update !

Well i called today to the Home Office and a not very friendly guy answered my call...

I asked why i have not yet received my biometrics letter after three months ( applied 27/07/12) and he said that everything is delayed now and they are having problems.

Still i insisted saying that people who applied a month later have already received it and he went on to take my reference number and my details. He says that simply I am not in the system which means that my applications has not been processed yet.

What to do... maybe i will write to them.
A bit worried... more delays...

Bye

Don't see a point why you want to download this spreadsheet. Anyways, I can see you are on the spreadsheet already. I am assuming that you've got a Microsoft Login (Hotmail/MSN/Windows) which you might've used to enter your details. when you open the spread sheet using your MS Login click on File -> SaveAs then click Download. - HTH
