ILR application

Post by Anand_2012 » Tue Nov 27, 2012 4:51 pm

Hi All,

I have seen in the forum that in solihull peo, they take payment after the application is approved. I am wondering what happens if the application is rejected, do they give the bad news and ask for payment or can you walk out without paying the fee?

My case:
EC(HSMP) issue date: 11-feb-2008
Entry date: 03-Mar-2008
current visa(Tier 1) valid till: 11-feb-2013

Since I can complete 4 years and 11 months by 04-feb-2013, I am not sure if I can take advantage of the 3 months rule and apply on 14-Jan-2013 (28 days before EC date).

Thanks,
Anand

Let me know if you have the opportunity to walk out without paying, whether pass or not. For myself if I don't pass I'm heading home, so why would you pay. Clearly, if you can still stay via visas you wouldn't want to mess with them.

Since you've entered within 90 days.. You can apply for visa 28 days prior to your current visa expires (that should be 14th Jan 2013)
