No further reply yet.
I contacted UKBA they said you can check the status after 6 months, we can't tell you any thing before if it is been granted, refused or lost.
UKBA site says that 90% cases are decided within 4 weeks. I don't know what they are doing it is getting on nerves & annoying.
Can some one tell that can we do Contract job on Tier 1 Enter ? Because as mention in the posts it says restricted work how the employers or agencies going to consider when it says restricted work. It is not go
ing no where :(

Aziz, yes, you can do contract work as long you are engaged through your business.

The contract should state your company name in order for you take any work up.

I hope this makes sense.

Thanks Mr. Shaukat.
Scene is like I don't have the BRP so that's why I was confirming. Anyhow my original question how to explain the agency or recruiter about the Restricted work on the visa how they going to accept. One more thing if we pay any lawyer or some one can they arrange a document from HO stating the contract work can be done legally so it can be given to the relevant company with whom one going to do the contract. fingers crossed xx

I would assume your previous Visa regulations would apply until you get your approval as Tier 1 Entrepreneur. So from your previous post if you had PSW you were eligible to take up any contract work anyway, which would need no further confirmation from HO or anyone in a similar regard. And if its about your new business you applied as Entrepreneur on behalf of you are eligible to take up contract work until the length of your previous visa expiry... Wait for an experts advise though...

waiting time

Post by aziz1053 » Tue Nov 27, 2012 4:35 pm

it is now nearly going to be 4 months on 10 December 2012 when I applied for the case so what are the chances like to get before winter holidays. It's taking more then ages never faced this issue before not from back home. case ps to tier 1 enter... as I have planned some travelling I don't know if I am gonna make it or not. Yes if they take 2 weeks to send new bio mats how long would it take to decide a case. If you think logically a case shouldn't take longer then 5 to 6 hours case worker to decide or may be max 1 or 2 days not more then that. :(

Hey can u please share ur document list and letters template.
List of document :
passport,BRP, police certificate, photo, UK degree, bank statement for maintenance , balance confirmation from barclays ( You need try lots of branch to get the required letter otherwise they just telling you we got template in our system and we cant change it !!! (chatting shit as they can )) on letter you must show the following : name , address, account number, date , AVAILABLE money , and YOU HAVE INSTANT access to money whenever you want and you can spend it ask the bank to address the letter To UKBA tier 1 and put reference number on the letter and save the letter on your profile this will speed up the process if UKBA want to check the letter .

THATS IT

if your case is straight froward ,they will process your application within 4 weeks, mine was lost between Tier1 PSW application thats why it took month to take payment , I made formal complaint and they found it .
:P :P

hello siavashes,
did you attach a contract with your application? or did not attach one.

Its 15 week completed tomorrow(29/11/2012) since I registered biometric and 16 week since I applied. Nothing from ukba. I don't know what is this 4 week mystery define on their website. Its not work load which make delays its something else. They are really testing us. And the worst thing is they are updating the dates on the website and not processing application accordingly which make us more frustrated. Common ukba don't lie at least.

Ahmed, Not sure exactly where the inquiry was made from to the bank. The call was made at 10.30am Indian Time to the Bank and they only wanted to speak to the Bank Manager and no one else. The Bank manager was asked as to whether he gave the letter, and also had been asked if he can verify the source of the money. In my case, they also checked whether i had the money which i did have. This is what the manager has told me. I suspect this call can either be from the bank's head office or either by the British High Commission in India. As no one in the UKBA would be working at 5am.

I did send a pre-paid special delivery envelope along with the application and they sent the passports, approval letter and other documents in the special delivery envelope which i had already sent. I was also able to track this the night before.

The BRP was sent by a courier DX courier.

To be honest i think most applications with funds overseas have been taking 4.5 - 5 months. If you are lucky you definitely get it earlier.

I hope you get your visa very soon as I know how it feels...All the best

Hi UKVishal,

Thanks for detail explanation. you said following lines right.

"In my case, they also checked whether i had the money which i did have".

Could you please let me know, whether visa officer verified the money on verification date (22.Nov.201) whether you had or not in this date (22.Nov.201).

Also could you please let me know whether you maintained the money till your Visa is approved. How come Visa officer expects the money to be there till their verification is done.

Please reply.
