Do you know what sort of inquiry UKBA did from your bank in India?

Ahmed, Not sure exactly where the inquiry was made from to the bank. The call was made at 10.30am Indian Time to the Bank and they only wanted to speak to the Bank Manager and no one else. The Bank manager was asked as to whether he gave the letter, and also had been asked if he can verify the source of the money. In my case, they also checked whether i had the money which i did have. This is what the manager has told me. I suspect this call can either be from the bank's head office or either by the British High Commission in India. As no one in the UKBA would be working at 5am.[/quote]

Hi guys about the enqiury i need to tell you guys that I have seen ukba immigration patrol episodes in that episode they were calling banks from their indian ukba's branch asking about the funds of the applicant. So damn sure ukba will themselves call bank and not by anybody else.

Well your investment location doesn`t matter they are taking equal.time in processing your application. My all investment is in uk since a long long time and all on my name but still wating for the visa even after three and half month.

I agree my investment is in UK too and have been waiting for my visa for last 4 months...have not received anything yet.I dont think it matters where you have invested , they are taking minimum 5-6 months to process in case of all applications.I gave my biometric on 26th July.

They only send acknowledgement after the payment. Better to call them and ask whats going on.

The payment sometimes goes after a few days, has happened a lot of times, if you can check the available balance on your account, if that is less the fee think its being processed.... or better call them... all the best

Congrats!

Did u have any contact with UKBA? Either to chase the progress of your app or did they contact your bank?

I hope we all hear soon!!

And Xmas is round the corner so they will probably not process applications for a couple of weeks.

Stay positive people!
