Another week has passed

Post by diane » Fri Nov 30, 2012 5:16 pm

Sigh...so no one received anything?do you think all those who received CoA during that mid week of October should be getting results the same time?Or it goes by application date?clearly some guys here..6 months and still nothing.

Quick question, so my CoA is APPARENTLY valid until 28 January. What if after 28 January I don't hear anything like alot of people here not receiving anything after 6 months? I don't want to jeopardise my current job of two years because of this bullshit. Do you guys think I should inform my employers my situation?I am afraid they will let me go because of this status...sunk into more misery ;(

And I guess I am pretty much certain about the trend.

Ppl generally receive their RC's on Thursdays/ Fridays/ or Saturdays.

If you only applied in October, I would advise against holding your breath... that could be hazardous.

The pattern with which the UKBA process EEA2 has nothing to do with date of COA.Different caseworkers just as humans as we are and some of them are really time wasters there causing the so called 'backlog' there. Instead of them giving out RC's quick they keep our documents there for a long time while we suffer from inconveniences in long waiting and then we hear all over the news that they have a ''backlog''.They need to supervise their employees very well.I an legally married with kids with my wife living together and still two weeks to 6 months and my wife exercising treaty for 7 good years and still working but no RC and they haven't written us anything that they need any more document or anything and no RC posted as well. They way they work has to really change. I suggest they need to let all applicants have some access of logging in somehow with our reference number to see some updates on our applications before the so called ''6months'' .And why is it that it's only one centre in the whole UK that process EEA/ EU applications??It doesn't make sense.

My first request was sent on the 1st of November and then 4th and then 14th and then 19th, I called today to chase it up, I was told that all the requests and the one of 19th is on the system but the passport request has not been processed by the Caseworkers in Liverpool.

I was told that it was up to them.

It was heart breaking hearing that, its already over a month since i sent my first request.

EEA route time line

Post by Mandju » Wed Dec 05, 2012 3:05 am

All the Glory to the Almighty. My RC is finally in da house. Here is my timeline.
EEA2/EEA1 application sent:02.07.12
Received by HO:03.07.12
EEA1 passport requested back on :06.08.12
Passport received:08.08.12
COA & EEA1 residence card received:17.09.12
EEA2 RC & passport received:26.11.12

The forum help me a lot to understand the lengthy process and appease me in my waiting time. Although comparison is not reason some cases give you an insight in your own one. Thanks guys for your posts.

Today we received EEA1 and EEA2, dated 17 November.

Can finally relax.

Special thanks to Directive/2004/EC for advice!
