Hi skmfk

Welcome to the forum. My app too was sent on the 28 july. Coa received with rights to work mid oct. I have been waiting and praying ever since. Christmas is next week and I can't spend it with my family if it doesn't come through this week. I applied as unmarried partner. What about you? Send that reminder email to the liverpool passport return address. I believe they will redirect your email to the case worker. I have sent a mail and email last monday and 16 nov. Still nothing :(

Well when was the package dispatched?if it was just yesterday..they will get it back. Even then the person who received it by mistake should be in contact with you. Gosh what a disaster. I hope it will come to you tomorrow. Which number did you use to call ukba to find out?

I know this might sound a bit desperate, but maybe you can check with your neighbours? Sometimes, postmen do that, if they find no body is home, they leave postage with the neighbours.

Also, Writing to your MP would be a good idea, and let him know that the 6 months deadline passed and UKBA has been irresponsible with your documents, so much so that they don't know the whereabouts, and you would like his help in expediting the recovery of your passport, which you have a legal right to.

Most MPs take a week or so to get back in touch I would say.

I am living in uk for 5 years as a tier 2 which is expires after 6 mos.......Documents you provided looks not enough to prove your durable relation.you have to prove at least 2 years prove.i.g.last 2 years joint bank statements,2 years joint tenancy agreements,2 years joint council tax,2 years joint utilities bill etc.your documents does not enough to prove your relation.
Best regards

mhamdsamy,

Where did you find any requirement for phone bills or photos? It clearly says on the application form: "For unmarried partners: proof that you are in a durable relationship. Generally this is proof that you have been in a subsisting relationship for two years or more, such as joint bank or building society statements, joint tenancy agreements, council tax bills or evidence that you are both pay- ing utility bills at the property at which you reside."
EEA2 Application sent: 09/10/2012
Received by UKBA: 10/10/2012
COA received: 19/10/2012 (dated 17/10/2012)
Passports requested: 14/11/12, 28/11/12 & 12/12/12 (email) and 11/12/12 (mail)
Passports received: 17/12/2012

Thanks guys for your ideas!

First, the electric bills and gas or etc are included in the rent (studio flat)

2nd, it's not possible to send a 2 years contract and statements etc.. We do online banking only maximum 6 mos statements even we requested from the bank. .

3rd, we use a solicitor phone bills and photos are not required. We do have a joint account but it's a bit new so the solicitor decided not to send it cos it looks a bit dogy.

Many thanks for your response really appreciated. Reading your post makes me worried it seems that my application is not strong enough. /:
