Has anybody been successful on ILR application under Tier 2 ( Gen ) and did not provide a letter from emloyer. Did the CW ask for this letter even if the days outside Uk was less than 180 days. The reason I am asking is that I am facing difficulties in getting my previous employer in issuing me one. I have been away for a total of 52 days total since April 2008. All I have is a pay slips to show that I was paid full salary during my holiday trips.

one of my friends applied and he was not asked for one.

But it will be safe to take one in case they ask.
