Documents you provided looks not enough to prove your durable relation.you have to prove at least 2 years prove.i.g.last 2 years joint bank statements,2 years joint tenancy agreements,2 years joint council tax,2 years joint utilities bill etc.your documents does not enough to prove your relation.

This is incorrect- even if you dont have joint tenancy agreement, joint bank statements and all other joint things you are very eligible to get RC as long as you prove that you lived together at the same address for more than 2 years and in a relationship akin to marriage and if your partner is exercising Treaty right. I dotn' have joint account, or joint council tax bills, or joint electricity bills simply because we registered separately for separate bills. Its not like I was thinking "oh what HO will say if I only have my name on electricity bill". And if they reject me on basis that I don't have joint bills or account, they risk spending taxpayers money on court trial which I would most definitely win after appealing of course. This is what my lawyer told me and this is what I read when I was reading an Immigration Law.

I don't want to sound like I am taking your hopes away but I think that the most reasonable thing we can do is expect to wait full 6 months for RC. Applicants who applied in October and expect to receive their RC in 2012 I must say-get real. I applied 1st of September and I expect to receive it not before the end of Feb.

But lets hope I am wrong.

I am a July applicant and still haven't received my RC. I tried calling them on the 015 number but the guy said that if your application is less than 6 months I cant provide you any details although mine is on the 5th month next week.He didn't even take my ref number. I told him I was just concerned in case my application got lost! It was hopeless. I don't think anyone will received anything until Jan 2013...that is if the world doesn't end tomorrow :(...

May I ask which number you called and what options you selected? Yesterday I called on 01516725626 but there didn't seem to be an IVR option to speak with anyone.

Thanks

I've seen a lot of posts from people suggesting that because they are nearing the 6 month limit, they should get in touch with the UKBA. While I understand it is frustrating having to wait, why do you think they'll provide any information to you, simply because it will be 5 months next week?

The guidelines clearly state that it can take up to 6 months, and in everything else I have read, the UKBA discourage people phoning them for an update, as the call/contact centre staff simply don't have that information.

Hang in there diane - hopefully you'll get an early Christmas present tomorrow!

Hi Flipper - thanks. Got through to a female agent who was as helpful as a decommissioned robot on binary programming.

I do not think that we will witness much more action from the UKBA for the remainder of 2012.

I find it incomprehensible the watery service standards accorded to non-EEA family member applications. The EU Directive, with all good intentions, might confer equal rights but in this instance (and many others) we are regarded and treated as 2nd class citizens.

If this weren't the case then I would expect EEA and non-EEA applications to mirror similar processing times which they most certainly don't.

Moan over. Back to reports on RC processing times.

Yes 5 months next week. I am applying as unmarried partner to a swiss national. The reason I called like everyone else here is after reading horrifying stories of them being careless with docs, I keep thinking they lost my application..they should really change this system. At least if the application can be trackable on their website, we all know its there and its progressing!

BTW congratulations Carol!Told you it will get to you.

Where did you find any requirement for phone bills or photos? It clearly says on the application form: "For unmarried partners: proof that you are in a durable relationship. Generally this is proof that you have been in a subsisting relationship for two years or more, such as joint bank or building society statements, joint tenancy agreements, council tax bills or evidence that you are both pay- ing utility bills at the property at which you reside."
my freind dont have joint bank statements
he just sent photos in holidays , tickets, and his cell phone bills
for the same application but not the same gender they didnt rent a flat or anythin
just a room , he took the RC though

It seem I am one of the few July applicant who has not received his RC. I can't understand why ho is still keeping my application, I got married in London to an EU national who has been working since she came to this country 8yrs ago. Very frustrating, my will be 6 months in a couple of weeks time, i thought I was going to celebrate my birth day, 25/12 in a special way. Anyway, I ve no option but to wait.

This is my time line;
Application sent: 9/7/12
Application received by ho:10/7/12
COA: 4/10/12 dated 2/10/12
RC: still waiting.
God's time is the best.

Dear,

I want to enquire that as someone advised me not to sent special delivery package along with the application pack so i did not submit it.

But from the posts of people around, I am of view that I should have submitted it. Is it possible to send special delivery package now with case id that is on COA?

thank you very much.

You don't attach it to your passport, it's a 'freestanding' document. Have a look here: http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=99483

I sent return of documents request form which i found on ukba website to LiverpoolEuro.PassportReturns@UKBA.gsi.gov.uk, but I only requested passport of my husband, for some reason they sent our both passports back, we received them in a week time. With my application I sent my husband's payslips, employment contract, our marriage certificate and his bank statements, did it all myself. Gd luck guys!
