OCI for 1 adult

Application Date : 29 Nov 2012 (postal application)
Date of acknowledgement : 17 December 2012
Photo/Signature Scanned : 24th December 2012
Registration granted : 7th Jan 2013
Documents printed : 8th Jan 2013
Dispatched from Delhi : 15th Jan 2013
Documents Recd London : 17th Jan 2013

Went to the HCI london on 22nd.

FOr some random reasons they have changed the time to issue tokens

8:30 - 9:30
10:30-10:45
11:45-12:15

If you miss the 9:30 slot you have to wait for 1 hour in the COLD.. and there is lot of construction work.. so very loud outside as well.

But finally got my OCI after 7 weekss. It tool exactly 1 month from acknowledgement

At least, in person you only need to submit 1 set of self-attested copies. Also, have a look here

Post by rbalaji5762 » Wed Feb 06, 2013 6:55 pm

Hi,

When I apply for OCI, which pages of the UK Passport need to be copied? Are copies of empty pages need to be submitted as well?

Many thanks.

Many thanks vinitmanu. Is the photo page sufficient then (assuming all other pages are blank)?

Many thanks.

Cheers.

Payment methods in person

Post by rbalaji5762 » Thu Feb 07, 2013 2:08 pm

Hi,

What are the payment methods when we go in person to submit the OCI application? It is not mentioned clearly on the website. Can I use my credit/debit card?

Many thanks.

In HCI London, your options are cash or postal order only.
