Application Timeline for my wife
Eligibility criteria: Spouse of British Citizen (2yr dependant of Tier 1, 1 year ILR, 2 days spouse of British Citizen)
Method of application: NCS (Westminster)
Date of application: 6th November 2012
Date of receipt by UKBA: 8th November 2012
Date of debit of fees: 11th November 2012
Date of receipt of acknowledgement: 17th November 2012
Return of Special Delivery Envelope: 14th Dec (Caseworker returned the SD envelope stating that as Passport is not submitted, it is not needed. The envelope was put in to send the approval letter. Earlier in my nationality application, approval came in SD envelope which I had put in for that purpose)
Date of receipt of approval: 26th Jan 2013 (dated 21 Jan 2013)
Date of Ceremony: Need to book

Hi letter is dated 19/01/2013 but it came on Friday 25/01/2013

Joint Application : Husband + Wife

Eligibility criteria: 5 years HSMP + 1 year ILR
Method of application: NCS (Milton Keynes)
Date of application: 11/12/12
Date of receipt by UKBA: 14/12/12(by tracking the ref number)
Date of debit of fees: 02/01/2013
Date of receipt of acknowledgement: 09/01/2013 (dated 02/01/2013)
Date of receipt of approval: 26/01/2013 ( dated 17/01/2013)
Date of Ceremony: 14/03/2013

I got approval letter from home office and ceremony invitation letter from council on same day. The date mentioned in invitation letter for ceremony is 14/03/2013. I will speak with council today to prepone the date if at all possible.
