Yours took a very long time to get processed. They actually returned your documents after such a long time?
Can you share what documents were requested?

My husband eea3 card showing settlement prior my baby's birth.however,I must say if I didn't call IPS and find out,I would be still waiting.in January when I rang IPS,then someone told me that they need that document but then she immediately realised that she has to write to me,so after that phone call,4 days later I received letter to where to send the document...well,now I have the passport and happy.its funny that they want to see settlement document when my husband has naturalization certificate.clearly u have to wait a year after settlement before applying for naturalization....

Does anyone know when IPS sends back documents used for passport application. I am also thinking of giving them a call tmr Monday to ask them of my application updates. Is this too soon to make an enquiry considering that i only applied on the 2nd of Febuary?

Thanks anyone

In most cases 7-10 working days. I think you might be rushing it a bit if you call them tomorrow. However, it's your call.

No, I did not submit grandparents detail. Post Office Check and send it without asking me grandparents details. He writees "None" in Section 8 Additional Information. He said everything is ok. I got my interview & doc back within a week. Good luck for your Passport.

Just to say for those applying in future, and to your mind at rest and to keep your curiosity at rest, i did not give grandparents details neither did i submit marriage certifcate and i got the interview letter. So do not panic as it seems they do not require these info in the end. Good luck.
