PSW Dependant application and existing leave.

Post by bruteforce » Mon Feb 04, 2013 7:53 am

Just a quick one, if an applicant is refused a PSW dependant entry clearance, what happen to his / her existing (valid) leave as Tier 4 general? Can it still be used to continue the course of study back in UK?

A quick reply (with reference if possible) is appreciated.

Only if the conditions of that leave remain in tact. Has the college sanctioned the break to leave the UK?

On return, the admitting officer at the airport will see the PBS dependant refusal on the system and so will want to see good evidence that the course of study is still valid and on-going. Good luck with that.

Can they really decide dependant visa application on the basis of applicant's history as a Tier 4 student? I mean do they take into account attendance or course progress etc?
