I have been calling home office almost every week since beginning January and each time been informed that it is still pending. I have tried to get more information except that it is pending and each time been told that they have no access to any other information.
I am therefore still waiting to hear from the home office. Their number is not very cheap either to keep calling all the time.

If you are trying to raise the above on Medical grounds, then you should be able to phrase your covering letter yourself after reading ECHR

ILR basis of 10 years solicitor print form and forget sign

Post by amjadleeds » Mon Feb 04, 2013 11:10 pm

Hi everyone

I applied ILR in Oct 2012 and bio metric done on 15th December, Letter came from HO on 11 January take your client signature haven't sign section 10 of application , please see exact wording you did not sign the bio metrics (section 10) of your application form. Please complete and return your application form within 21 days by using envelop provided.

My solicitor filled again whole application form of new version and after signing send them back in provided enveloped. My bio metric been done , most if any thing missing they in validate your application and send you back. So what your thinking on which stage they found signature missing, either they will ask me again bio metrics, or I can expect decision will get sooner last stage of validation they found missing signature.

Your comments and advice will be appreciate.

Regards

Great eye for details Damani, Z18 my bio metric letter was sent to me within a month time too , so it is not really quick even if OP received bio letter on Jan , to be honest.

Not that it was received within a month but I actually asked her because there is no bio enrolment date mentioned? I thought may be a mere typo!!!

Info regarding what to do next

Post by k_alibaba » Tue Feb 05, 2013 4:12 pm

Dear Friends,
I had been on the forum for quite a while, been a silent reader to member.
One thing I'm proud about this forum that you guys got first hand up-to date information along with some practical experience which no solicitor can match.
I need your guidance about what to do next?
I applied for ILR 10 yrs routine in sept 03,2012 and it's been 13 weeks after my biometrics.
I have on 8 yrs student (2002-2010) and 2 years on discretionary leave from onward (2010-2013). On the basis of my son's rare medical condition.
My wife and 2 daughter joined me here in 2006 and son born in 2007.
Inshallah my ILR will arrive soon.
1). So do my wife and kids have to apply for FLR/M or SET/M?
2). Will they be on probation period of 5 years? If I apply FLR/M?
3). Our current leave does not restrict us from taking benefits. We get DLA for my son and child benefits for both and they're on my Wife's name. Will there be any complication in their application?

FLR(M) and then SET(M)

2). Will they be on probation period of 5 years? If I apply FLR/M?

No, they've already crossed the qualifying period.

3). Our current leave does not restrict us from taking benefits. We get DLA for my son and child benefits for both and they're on my Wife's name. Will there be any complication in their application?

Speak to some expert. Reading this post might help you understand what your stand is? Similar situation

Hi Mr. Singh
Don’t worry you are not alone in this boat, as my time is exactly the same as yours. So Hope we get soon.
Funny enough..!! One of my friend applied set(M) in end of October and he has already got his ILR within 2-3 month and he came in UK just in 2010 and we are here from last 10 od years but no respect from UKBA, considering the fact how much tax we have paid in last 10/11 years
All the best mate.

Hi Mr Singh and Hyper-PK

I applied on the 18th of August 2012 and the wait is killing me just as much - but I am trying not to think about it too much.

Would love to get hold of my PP so that I can go and visit my family in India.

Just stay positive is all I can say.

Hi Guys,

I applied ILR on 10 years residence bases, I had company sponsored work permit since last four year, valid for another year but I completed 10 years in the country and applied ILR on 02 August 2012 . I am still waiting for a decision from UKBA on my ILR application, bio-metric was enrolled on 18 October 2012.

Its more than 6 months gone but no reply.

Now I want to switch the job. Can anyone give me guidance ? if I can change my employment and if I am legally allowed to do so.

Kind regards,
Anzar

I suspect if you can do so? As your previous status would apply until you get a decision on your outstanding application. I hope work permit is attached to your sponsor and the moment you change your employer your work permit would be fortified unless you inform the UKBA and change your sponsor.
