Also my dependent name was wrong in barcode letter (but submitted the biometrics). Called and informed ukba.They may ask my dependent to enrol again not sure

UPDATE: I have just come home to find my biometrics invitation! I will definitely be headed to the post office first thing in the morning to get this done.

I applied much later (16 Jan 2013), got my Biometric test letter on 31st. You need to call and query, saying it has been more than 20 days.
Maybe they might help, try to be nice to them, if you find some nice and you are lucky, they can give you an update. I was told that there has been a backlog... Tel: 0870 606 7766, Option 4, then Option 1.

I used priority postal service on my case, it says I can hear from UKBA within 10 days.. and I got it in 9 days (including weekends). you should be able to enroll your biometric within 2 days after you get the invitation letter for. I did, and today got an approval letter.
