Thanks Incywincy, I did not wait for 1 year after ILR, because Spouses/Civil Partners of British Citizens do not need to wait an extra one year after ILR, as soon as you spend 3 years continual residency in the UK, you are automatically qualified to apply for Citizenship as far as residential requirements are concerned.
Hope my answer is as clear as you wish.
Best of Luck to you!

I submitted my application today through NCS. They did not accept any tax documents like p60 salary slips for past 5 years period ( I am director of company) In the form it says requirement of self assessment statement only for self employed
Is it some thing usual or some thing gone wrong. When mentioned i was told your Ni number enough these are required when you donty have your previous passports.

You are considered to be self-employed as long as you are not an employee of the firm in which you are a director. If that is the case, you should have filed for a self-assessment tax statement and submitted the same with your application.
If there exists a legal employment contract between you and the firm and you route your Taxes/NI Contributions through the PAYE system, you are considered an employee of the firm. If this is the case, you just need to have declared that you are an employee of the firm on the application form with the relevant details. In such a scenario, submission of pay slips, tax or NI documents is NOT required.

C'est bon...you're very lucky to get it super fast! I submitted on 26/Feb via NCS and am still waiting; though not yet impatient as I know it's too early to expect anything :)
