Post by ChetanOjha » Sat Mar 24, 2007 12:08 pm

Hi,

I have got the approval and applied with the following documents:

1. Qualification - 30 Points - Original Degree Certificate (Graduation) and Transcripts
- Origianl Letter from NARIC with the UK equivalence.

2. Past Earning - 35 Points
- Salary Slips (stamped and signed) from my past 2 employers (also include 2 months Indian Salart Slips)
- Bank Statement proving the net salary earned.
- Letter from Current employer regarding my salary. I am working with my current employer since past 8 months.

** Since I worked in India for 2 months in last 12 months, I calculated gross salary on Pro-Rota basis and it worked out fine.

3. Age Assessment - 10 Points

- Original Birth Certificate (which is in Gujarati)
- Original English Translation of Birth Certificate from a London Based Translator.
- Personal Detail Page of Passport Notarised by Notary Public, just in case they do not accept the Birth Certificate which is not in English.

5. UK Work Experience - 5 Points
- This would be proved by the payslips submitted above in point 2.

4. English Requirement - Original Letter from Universirty on headed paper showing my Name, qualification, college name, date of award, % secured and medium of instruction in english.

Date Of Application: 28/02/2007
Date of Fee Deduted: 10/03/2007
Approved Application Received: 21/03/2007
Total Time : approx. 3 Weeks.

I thanks everybody in this forum who has helped me to get this.
I hope the document list provided above would help somebody else in this forum.

Cheers..

Congrats ! I have some queries

Post by gsurendra » Sun Mar 25, 2007 10:48 pm

Hi Chetan,

Congratulations !!

I need your suggestion on 2 Queies below. Please help

I am a Chartered Accountant from India and want to apply for Evaluation of my Qualification from NARIC. I have the following queries.

1) Please confirm that the copy of my Certificate of Membership will suffice as final qualification certificates as required by NARIC.

2) Do I need to send the copy of my Mark Sheets also?

3) If I apply online, can I send a fax of my documents? If so, what is the fax number?

4) Do I need to send any other document other than above after paying online and filling up online form?

I had changed my employer during the past 15 months. I had not received any payslip in Nov-06 when I left my previous employer. Also, I had encashed my part salary Cheque for Nov-06 paid by my new employer as my new Bank Account was not opened then.

Due to the inconvenience in proving my Nov-06 salary, I want to declare my 12 month salary in this manner

1) Mar-06 to Oct -06 (8 months)
2) Dec-06 to Mar-07 (4 months)

Can I do this? Also, how do I calculate my salary on pro-rata basis?

1) Not Sure.

2) Yes you need to send copy of your marksheets as well.

3) You can fax documents. The fax number would be in the confirmation email you would receive from NARIC after paying the amount.

4) Degree + Marksheet is all you have to send. You can fax it as well.

-------------------------------------------------------------

You can only calculate your salary on pro-rota if you have worked in 2 different countries. I guess other senior members can help you with your query in this.

Hi Bob,

Yes I submitted only payslips (signed and stamped) along with the letter from employer. since i applied in the current financial year, it is understood that i couldn't provide the tax return document.
