Discretionary leave but want to sponsor child abroad

If in the uk with discretionary leave given for 3 years. Can you sponsor your child from abroad. If so how? The DL will expire 2015

Not under the rules. On what basis were you granted discretionary leave? Are you the child's parent? How old is the child? Who is the child living with currently?

Asylum was refused but granted discretionary leave, does not say reason on letter.
Child is 4 years old and is living with grandparents abroad, has global developmental delay. Parents and suiblings are here but want to sponsor child. DL was gramted October 2012.

All the Immigration status doc says is that dl granted on a discretionary basis outside the rules for a specified period
