The passport with approval letter and other documents came in the special delivery envelope I had sent along with the application. The BRP came by a courier later on the same date.

This forum is extremely helpful.

Good luck to all.I found UKBA processing time to be quite good and they arranged to resentd the biometric letter quicly and I received in one week. the letter they sent was dated 3-4 days after I called them and i received it 2 days from the date that was in the letter. There is also a mail address (AppointmentExceptions@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk) that you can write to and they are very quick in replying and arranging new biometric letters.

The new letter had the new date (basically the date this new letter was printed) and the letter asked to attend the biometric within 15 working days from this new date.

Good luck guys and it seem like every one is getting the extensions...seem they are really not bothered about the guys who are applying for extension and granting them the visa... as i had my doubts about couple of things but THANKS GOD they did not bother about them at all...
