Hello all,

I've got news from HO. This morning I received the BRP cards. Yet to receive other documents. So, at last, I got it today as a result of the expedite request I sent last week. What a relief.

So my timeline is like this:
-Set (O) - 2 yrs HSMP + 3 yrs T1 G - applied on 8th October 2012
-App fee paid via bankers draft.
-Biometrics enrolled in mid december 2012.
-Requested to expedite the app on 13 May 2013
-BRP received today (20 May 2013).
-PP and other docs: still waiting

I would like to thank everyone in this forum and especially to Samriti2u, gmx and Malikshab. Great forum. All the best to others still waiting for their ILR decisions.

Congrats cpf! Could I ask what your reason for expediation was? Apologies if you already stated it before - thought it might be quicker to just ask you instead of going through old posts. thanks!

Hi All,

I've finally got some good news... I received my passport and approval letter back today and am now just waiting on my BRP. Can those who've received their passport and BRP separately in the post, tell me how many days did they have to wait until they got both their passport and BRP? ie is it too much to expect that it my BRP will come tomorrow?

I rang them this morning to find out they sent a package to me on Tuesday so I stayed home from work today to wait for the package. The letter was dated 17th May ie last Friday and when I rang them on Monday, they said a decision hadn't been made yet so I'm not sure how accurate the date on the letter is. Though I am grateful that a decision has finally been made!

Good luck to everyone else. I will update my timelines once my BRP comes through!

On the same day. I missed the postman in the morning. But collected the packet later from the post office.

Hi

As per other posts, UKBAs response to callers is that they are dealing with october applications at the moment....has anyone had anything back?

I am still waiting! Over 8 months! Let's see what this week or early next week will bring. This is 100% patience and one needs the grace of God to survive it! The most important thing is when it comes, it should be good news for us all that are still waiting! It's a phase that comes and it will surely pass! But one thing it certains, l can never advice anyone to go postal application again, except if the case is not straight forward, it's better to pay the extra cash and have rest of mind! All is well!
