OCI Application: 02-April-2013 (Postal, London)
Received In London HCI: 3-April-2013
OCI acknowledgement : 27-May-2013
Return of Original surrender certificate: 28-May-2013 (Post)

Current status: Documents Printing Status UNDER-PROCESS On

Thanks. I got an email from OCI on 28th May that they were processing postal application - 2nd April.

JJK - what email address did the reply come from or what email address you used to ask a query to OCI section?

OCI card and U Visa collected : sent passport by post on 23/05/2013 and recived back on 30/05/2013

with this my journey has completed

Has anyone got his OCI recently who applied in Birmingham?

Looks like Dinesh we should be acknowledged in 2-3 days since nn's application of 3rd April has been acknowledged on the 27 th may.

I have sent several emails and got reply on 28th May. Same email as mentioned in the website: att.oci@hcilondon.in

How many copies of Oci registration form is required? The form says duplicate copies with original photographs but the document list says only one copy of the registration form. Please help.

I applied at Birmingham and it was acknowledged on 6 March and has now finally been granted and document printing status is processed 3 June.

Anyone know how long the Delhi office takes to send it back?

Applied end of feb by post at Birmingham
Acknowledged 9th march
OCI granted and printed on 3 June
Dispatch from Delhi awaited


Any ideas how long to get it in Birmingham?
I've got a flight booked for 28june, hopefully I don't need to apply for visa!

Not yet it's only been processed on 3 June as printing ..i guess it takes a couple of days to dispatch from Delhi..will post when it does!

Can any one tell me if i can paste a different photo on the hard copy of the form that is different from the one I uploaded online at the time of submission?

The photo upload doesnt allow more then 30kb so have resized but for hard copy i have a different one

Please answer so that i can avoid delays later

I would be surprised if anyone other than the consulate can answer than one as this is a new process (upload photos online) just started a couple of weeks ago so not many would have had the opportunity to follow this, I am also applying for my wife's online but I will not upload the photo and just send hard copies as this is possible.

I applied for oci London by post on march 27th. I still didn't get acknowledged.When I check online status it says
It seems the passport number provided doesn't match the web file number provided

When I click forgot registration number and entered my passport number and date of birth it says no records found.

When I emailed them they replied pl check status online only

I have seen they acknowledged the applications they received on April 8th.

I sent my original passport and surrender certificate with the application. I don't know what is happening with my application. Is anyone in same situation?
Can someone help me what should I do next ?

By original - do you mean your Indian or the foreign one, in any case you are not required to send anything in original except for Surrender certificate

Mine was 5 th april which was acknowelged on 31st may. So ur should be done before. Keep them sending emails they will let u know

My postal application 12th April was acknowledged on 5th June(today). I think you need to send an email and ask them the status.

Hello,

I am in the same position, I posted on 4th march and still no acknowledgement. I emailed them about 4 days ago and they said check in 3-5 weeks. I guess we can only wait.
