my advise to all guys waiting for more than 70 days : Write a letter to local MP with a request to assist in this matter. They have got internal connections with Heads of Immigration Dep't and can potentially push the issue of the TD. I think I would have been waiting for months it it weren't for MP!

Okay Guys Big Help needed

1..do you need to fill in the declaration by famous person even if your applying to renew your CTD?
2..Shall i send the photocopy or orignal BRP or both
3..When applying for SET protection route for my ILR, i sent in my immigration status docs and leave to remain letter, and when i received my ILR i never got any of those docs back at all, and even when getting ILR there wasnt such letter stating, like for example youve been granted ILR etc, it was just a simple letter saying, here are your BRP enclosed.. SO all i can send is really my OLD CTD and my BRP

I so hope this doesnt annoy my process of making a renewed CTD, and it also doesnt take long, cos my last one took 2months .. was lucky.

I have been waiting for more than 8 month now for a renewal of my CTD. Soon I will have to apply for a citizenship. I think I will have to ask for my documents back (stupidly sent them all the originals).
I'm soooo frustrated. Mainly because my brother applied later than me but he has already received his CTD.

I think none of us should have applied for CTD's. You are right, by the time we gona get it, its gona be almost time for Citizenship application. and then have to send again all original Docs. Hardly time for any Holidays. Waste of time and stress in bonus.

I think you need to see a Solicitor mate.

Congratulation,,, I think you just need to be lucky that your application arrives to the right person because the UKBA are taking a piss

I got the same Fax number but even though you fax it to them they take a while to answer which is very annoying i can't even explain.

Hi all of my friends , please help me about my travel document ,because I applied and I didn't receive it yet . so a time i called them and a crazy lady said why you want Travel document.

when you call them ask if they have received your application or not!! same here, i am close to suicide no job no nothing and they can't even give you a decent responses all they say you have to wait. ask your MP to write to them.

By the way, no need to send the original PRB only send copy of it with your application for CTD.
I only sent a copy and got my CTD after 3 monthes.

OLAZH, You are very lucky men in the refugees forum you were granted CTD less than a month after 28 Feb 2012. when I was granted refugee status in 2007. I have received within 3 week but this this my waiting past the 3rd month and still waiting nothing heard apart from acknowledgement letter.

I applied on the 31 January, so about 4 and a half months waiting.
