MN1 Referee - British National

Post by orange01 » Fri Jun 07, 2013 12:43 pm

Hi,

I have an aunt who is a British National and happy to write her details as a referee (I've already arranged the professional reference). She is not a relative to me but I know her through a common friend. Can she act as a referee? If yes, what does she need to write in 5.2?

I would appreciate if someone can answer these two questions..

Thanks

Yes she can act as your second referee as she is not related to you.

She should write this in 5.2:

Friend
43 years (just an example)
Accountant (just an example)

Thanks linkers much appreciated - a quick question though - she lives
in London and I am based in Derby - would it be an issue if referee is not local to the same city?

Thanks a lot..

No there will be no issue. It doesn't matter if she lives in a different city.
