Post by Joyous2013 » Sat May 04, 2013 3:35 am

Dear Vinny and other senior members
I got my ILR on 10 years basis on 25 April and the BRP on 26 April. I will be applying for FLR M for my husband who has been on a work permit dependent visa. He joined me in February 2012 together with my two step sons. The older son is now over 18 but the younger one is 14

However Im not sure which forms to use for the two sons . Please help

I applied for my daughter on Feb 25th - I was told 57 working days at the time.

It is worth sending out an email as you have waited almost 60 days.

Update : Processed application handed over to Bluedart on 18/05 ( didn't realise that status will be udpated on Saturday as well)

Anyone know how to check the tracking on Bluedart website ?

For information - application is for my daughter applied at Chennai on 25/02.

Hi Firefly and all,

Happy to share that visa was granted and received the passport today. Good luck to all awaiting decision.

Visa was issued on Friday which was exactly 57 working days excluding bank holidays from time of submission. I was told 57 working days at the time of submission.

To track the status on bluedart website we need to put in a '.' at the end in addition to the passport number in the reference number field. Hope this helps.

regards,
Muthu.

Hi All,

Submitted visa application for my second son under Indefinite Leave to Enter at VFS Bangalore.

Date of Submission: 10/6/13

Were told it will take 56 working days.

Surprisingly, the VFS person did not try to verify if all required documents were submitted. Just asked to submit all that we had. In the past, they would try to cross check once.

Thanks to this forum members, was very helpful.

Now waiting game for the response from BHC.

Thanks,
Sumanth

Hi i wonder if any could help my situation is.

I am a british citizen, my husband and his daughter come over from India in December 2012, under the old rules. He has 2 other children in India who he wants to bring over at some stage. At the moment they are living with their grandfather. He has sole responsibility for all 3children so that isant a problem.
Is it easier to apply for the childrens application once my husband has ILR as then we are both settled parents.
Plus when we do apply i assume it would be my husband who would apply being their parent and not me as their sponser.

All the financial requiements mention is a spouse and a child, what do you need to show if there is no spouse.
Would we still have to meet the financial requirement or would we fill out appendix 1.
My husband doesnt earn as much money as me so he wouldnt meet the financial part, can we do this as a joint thing and add our wages together.

i would appreciate a response if anyone has any ideas.
