Dude you need to allow required time for processing. As earlier mentioned you need to wait for approx 3.5 weeks for the status to change from acknowledged to printed. So hopefully by mid next week (if not sooner), you'll see progress.

Yes, Ban but I m bit worried.

So, just wanted to know if anyone else has acknowledgement date nearest to mine and if their status changed.

I am not sure how many days will it take to get India Visa if I can't see OCI arrived in London by 20th. Then there will be only 2 weeks left for me.

I am bit worried for mine as it was acknowledged on 13th June but not progressed yet and I have to visit India in last week of July

I applied in-person on 11/June at HCI, London. My application shows the below status today:

Date Of Acknowledgment 11-JUN-2013
Documents Printing Status PROCESSED On 02-JUL-2013
Dispatched From MOIA (OCI ) NEW DELHI On
Document received At LONDON On

Can someone advise on the usual timelines between 'Printing' and 'Received in London'?

Thanks for your update.

Mine was two days later. Hope it will move this week.

Normally, observed it takes 10 more days from printing to received in London.

Finger crossed.

The only diff is mine was postal and your is in person

Kamal - 99% your status will change by this Friday if not early next week.
there is only little you can do by worrying in this situation.

I applied for OCI in person in Birmingham on the 4th April 2013. The status still shows Printing is under process. Has anyone applied in Birmingham around that time? Need to go to India last week of July.

Just got an E-mail from the CGI Birmingham to say they have dispatched the passports today...phew..so fingers crossed the journey should be complete tomorrow or by Fri...and then.....All starts again for wife and kids...oh what fun...

My online status dosent show the "OCI granted" text but it shows OCI number is it same as a OCI granted ??.
or do HCI sends a SMS advising to collect the OCI or it will be shown on the online status enquiry.

It appears your OCI is ready for collection in HCI, they don't send any text/email messages, all we need to do is check status online and send passport for collection in post or go in person.

the documents you need for collecting it is
1) Original british passport
2) Online status enquiry print out
3) if you have a PIO, Original PIO
Optional: if going in person not required, if sending in post, return special delivery cover

You can collect your wife's at your end, she dont need to go in person

Just take marraige certificate, just in case if they ask
