dilkpdp - Mine was Barkingside too, but on 20th April, no acknowledgement yet. It appears that Barkingside should be avoided by people applying in the future..!!

No that's not 100% true, one of my friend applied from same NCS, had payment problem but still got his approval within 3 weeks from the day of applying. But seems to me some problem during april from that NCS or may be HO where this NCS is sending application to

I don't really how they work on these applications, its frustrating that I keep checking the post and there is nothing.
mine was 5+1 year PR card (Non EEA national).. it should really be straight forward..
I have never left the country since my arrival date.. 5 years then I had my PR Last Year January ..

:?:
anyway I hope we hear from them soon..

I hope so too feels so long especially when you see loads of approval for people who applied weeks after you. We can only hope that we receive our approvals soon but the wait is making me anxious and worried looking out for the post everyday. Just don't want to be bothered if only I can take my mind off it.

I think that HO internal changes like whole departments of UKBA split and their transitions to HO in April may cause applications delayed for who applied from April and May.

Hope this is only reason why application takes longer than usual and nothing else on applicants who are waiting over a couple of month. Hope all pending applicants would get their good news soon.

Reson For Delay

Post by Budmashh » Fri Jul 05, 2013 11:06 pm

guys it's bit of news I got from some strong source that how case worker deal with naturalazation application
1-Some applications get picked for randome checks
2-enhanced CRB check
3-HM revenue Tax
4-checks against credit frauds
5-checks against NHS
6-checks against DVLA

And of course sometime some case workers are quick and some take time
Like normal human
If any of you work in the office you know some people work fast and some chat a lot and do the work for the sake of it

Anyway application get decided and sent back to us in five steps
1st- validate the application, fee detection
2nd- Allocate to case worker to decide
3rd- case worker present the decision to his/her manager to review
4th- Nationality certificate printing
5th- everything goes in mailing department to get it posted back to applicants

So Delayed Application are definitely going through checks
Again it's always randome checks....
Good Luck to everyone and myself I applied on 17th June 2013

Possible

2-enhanced CRB check
This simply does not happen. UKBA does not do any CRB checks, because they don't need to. They have direct access to PNC. CRB checks are only done by organisations who do not have access to PNC.

3-HM revenue Tax
It does happen.

4-checks against credit frauds
Possible.

5-checks against NHS
Wonder what those checks would be. To see if someone has been ill?

6-checks against DVLA
There is no separate check for this. It gets carried out as part of PNC check. If something appears in PNC then it could be further investigated.

PND record is fresh and no speed driving or any other fine or judgment. I checked my SAR just couple of days before application with HO and no adverse history. I dont have a credit card or loan. I sent email reply came this morning on the que to allocate a caseworker. Previous reply was same. And its more than 2 months now. They also told me they haventlost my ddocuments and received everything. So a lots of applicants will get approval but sometimes life is hard for nothing or patient exam from God. I am sure it will come one day :-) inshallah
