Is finding new employer who would sponsor me realistic ?

Post by UKWorker » Wed Jul 10, 2013 3:35 pm

I am sponsored by my employer since 2009 and have another 2 years till ILR
It will be 10year since I arrived to the UK few months before my 5 years with my employer.

Is that correct to think that, if I am applying to ILR under 10years rules I don’t have to be employed by my current employer at the time when I am applying for ILR?

I also having difficulties with my current employer and feel somehow discriminated (in fact very much). I am sure I can do more than how they value me. Everyone else is growing but me. It is very humiliating to depend on them with my sponsorship. So the next question:

Is it realistic to find a job where new employer will be willing to sponsor me?

I am almost ACCA qualified (1 paper left) with over 5 years work experience in finance department.
