OCI Card application and status

Hello

I have submitted my OCI application in Edinburgh consulate three weeks and tried to check my oci status without any luck. Whenever i tried to check status,it shows No Such record found.

Can you please advise is it normal for the application?

Edinburgh consulate mentioned it would take 16 weeks for OCI processing. I think I should have posted to london.

As we lived in Scotland,Is it possible to post my wife OCI to london?Please advice.

I think it takes 4 weeks to get acknowledgement, Did You apply in Person? I also live in scotland, apparently all scottish residents to apply at CGI Edinburgh as told by the CGI Office, and advised it will be sent back to CGI, Edinburgh if applied at HCI London. Nothing is clear, as my few friends have applied in London via post.
I a going to apply tommorrow in person to CGI, Ed for same.
