Resident trying to work elsewhere

Post by hussie » Wed May 09, 2007 3:23 pm

Hi

Now that I have the long term irish residency and working as self-employed in ireland: What are the requirements for working elsewhere in Europe? (e.g. do work for an irish company [self-employed though] with operations in a different schengen country)

Suppose it is less than 90 days?
What is the case when it is more than 90?

Does van der elst and his law case apply?

Rgds

Hard sell with van der elst
it is not a rotation in your company, the size of your se company versus a multinational who has a rotational programme would make that questionable in the mind of an immigration officer
less than 90's, no problem if its not holland since they don't accept that rule in practice, you have to check each country's tax law regarding it
more than 90 you'd need a visa for that country to work
